Our Civilization-2
In ancient India people lived according to the rules layed down in the society and most occupations were hereditory. A bramhin was the fulcrum of the society. King ruled to keep the society as vedic as possible. Far distant lands were called mlechha desha , though civilization in these countries were not as vedic , yet rules were set by Vedic kings to these subservient mleccha kings , theses were known as mlechcha dharma, which were simple like speak truth, offer food to sun before eating, dont trouble neighbors, share with the fellow beings. whenever these were not followed , these were punished by Vedic kings. however mlechchas were not allowed in the Vedic lands.
towards 4000 BC Kshatriya population dwindled by Mass masacre of all Kshatriyas by Mahapadma of Magadh dynasty(jarasandha family). This marked start of non Kshatriya rule in India . now Though society was basically Vedic , performing of Yagnya and other rituals stopped as masters of the nation were Non Kshatriyas. Bramhins felt uncomfortable serving these Kings. in return Kings felt no obligation to uphold Vedic tradition , since it barred them from many a rituals.
These non performance of rituals and poor support for Gurukuls, made astras(missiles) impotent. Now warfare was only limited to mere bow and arrow fighting hitting the target with sharp arrows and swords. this was primarily a domain of mlechchas, mlechchas started venturing into vedic lands and capturing them . With their advent and power new non vedic religions started taking roots. New non kshatriya rulers found these comfortable , because that saved them from clutches of always sermoning bramhins. So non vedic religions flourished. Yet mlechchas were not liked in the society, so many attempts were made to thwart them slowly compromising on the terretory. when finally kingdom of magadh fell, this country was up for loot from sakas of egypt/iran etc. then came yavans started attacking borders looting temples ,slowly local resistance failed , now the new masters were yavans who had no resemblance to our culture. This agitated people and many princely states rose in tits and bits to counter, but they had no major powerful leader to unify . All the more yavans and turks had central authority in shah of iran as strong kingdom . yavans/turks ruled for 1000 years and slowly became a part of our culture and since they disaaligned with shah , they had to fall in line partly with vedic way of life accepting hindu society and its structure.
Slowly gurund entered and now there was a three way combat, between gurunds , turks and hindus. two of these always sided to defeat the third. Yet hindus distrusted turks and preferred gurunds, giving gurunds to slowly establish millitary supremacy with just a 1 lakh soldiers. with most states outsourcing military to english , princes/kings forgot the original cocept of dharma of veda and duties of king instead relied on protection and pension of english. ( This is akin to an enterpreneur seeking monthly income from an affluent trader or through outsourcing) Kings were happy with pension and revenue share giving entire administration to English , partly reason being underconfidence to rule independently and safely from neighboring muslim or hindu kings. ( The concept of Ashwamedha yagnya is to precisely avoid such a situation ,if kshatriyas strived hard to rule entire world as their duty, there would be no independent princely states) . It is strange that during this period , almost all the princely states in India had a problem to get an offspring, most remained childless. and a chance to Dalhousie to usurp kingdom by stopping pension. There seems to be a concipiracy by British make these kings impotent perhaps through drugs during their playtime or partying hours. perhaps white woman was used as a lure to adminsiter these drugs. entire India faced problems of a progeny from a King and pension stopped and British ruled half of India.
The queen took over and 100 years of rule was mostly a misrule with economy sliding and driving country to poverty . British left India as a result of violent quit India movement and civil war like situation. They had no more a profitable venture here , Dividing country into two.
Vande matram brought a fresh ray of hopes into New India which was as big that never before not even Akbar ruled such a big empire as acquired by Nehru and his family and subsequently others. These rules were under chaos of following the new world order or the old traditional vedic rule , with a hope that we would catch up with western world our pioneers chose the former . With no think tanks , country struggled to stand on its feet, only to catch up with the west and never being able to lead. History shows one triumphs only when one sticks to his roots. India with its roots in vedic system, whenever deviated had only deteriorated in the past.
“Oh God when shall my country be a leader among the lands leading the right way to prosperity for its subjects in this world and the other.”
