There are three types vriddhas according to Shastra 1.Vayovriddha 2.Gnyana vriddha 3.Tapovriddha.
Vayo vriddha are those who are elder in age ,they should be respected and served .
Gnyana vriddha are those who have acquired immense knowledge ,these are also akin to old and elderly ,these should be served more
